NWPBIS Conference 2022

As Communications Manager of a small educational nonprofit, I helped organize a hybrid conference. This conference drew about 900 in-person attendees at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center and several hundred virtual attendees. The Whova platform was used for conference access, video was done with Zoom, and videos were hosted afterwards with Vimeo.

UO School of Journalism and Communication

Interning in the University of Oregon's SOJC communications office offered me opportunities to participate in planning, promoting, and/or logistics work for various events the school puts on. Events that I worked on included an awards ceremony for ethical journalism, a fundraising drive, and an international communications conference.

Student Organizations

While a university student, I served as co-director for a student activist group. During my tenure, I organized dozens of campus events, spanning the range of recruitment drives, guest speakers, public forums, and civil disobedience. I also co-organized three national student activist conferences.
